Well as Sickfest 2009 came to its end, I did end up getting sick. My ears were all plugged up all weekend, so I went to the doctor on Monday and I have two ear infections (yes, in my two ears). So I’m on some kind of super wonder anti-biotic that keeps away the krypton and the mosquitoes. My ears are feeling better today, and everyone else in the Sickfest 2009 venue seem to be recuperating quite well. Any volunteers to hold Sickfest twenty ten at their house?
In other news, Carleigh is picking up more vocabulary, instead of the usual mumbles you can actually understand a few words now. Carissa got a 100% on her spelling test last week, which is quite an accomplishment for her. We’ve been struggling with spelling words all year long, and I think we’ve finally found a method to help her learn them. Next on the agenda, getting her to remember those words a few weeks into the future rather than just pushing them out of her head after the test is over.
Regardless of what my husband might offer we will NOT host Sickfest Twenty-Ten at our house. At the Barber house we have our own issues. Ant takers for Surgery Twenty-Ten?
