2 Cup(s) water
1/2 Cup(s) sugar
1/4 Cup(s) shortening
2 Package(s) active dry yeast
9 Cup(s) flour
Dissolve yeast and 1 Tablespoon sugar in warm water. Put hot water into mixing bowl.
Add shortening and stir to disolve. Combine sugar, salt and flour.
Add yeast mixture to shortening mixture. Add flour mixture all at
once mixing until dough begins to leave the sides of the mixing bowl.
Cover dough with cloth and let rise approximately 1 hour before
shaping into rolls. Plase rolls on greased cookie sheet and let rise
again. Bake at 350 F for 20 minutes.
