Yields: 12 sandwiches
Ingredients
2.5lb boneless pork loin
1 tsp. ground black pepper
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
1 tsp. garlic powder
16 oz. jar of banana peppers, undrained
1 Italian salad dressing seasoning packet (I used Good Seasons)
1 dozen good Italian sandwich rolls *not needed until day of cooking
Instructions
Add all ingredients to slow cooker (except rolls).
Cover, and cook on “low” setting for 6-8 hours.
Shred meat and stir to combine.
Made last night. Turned out very good. Used pork butt roast which was a bit fatty. The pork loin might be better, just a bit afraid of it drying out.
