I think I am obsessed with the Columbia Disaster. I mean on Saturday I watched probably six or seven hours of coverage on the disaster and that was when they hardly even knew anything. On Sunday I probably watched at least four or more hours of coverage and since I’ve been back at school I catch a little on TV, but anytime I am in front of a computer I am scouring for news articles relating to it. I even watched the memorial ceremony over the Internet today at work. I’m not sure why but it interests me quite a bit. From the disaster itself to the ramifications that may come because of it. I think part of it is because there has been a lot of information released on how the shuttles are built and maintained and what not and I have always been fascinated by stuff like that.
In other news the latest 560 project has started up. We get to write an assembler this time around that will generate byte code for the simulator we turned in last week. We have a month to get it done, and it seems not that hard, but something tells me we will be struggling to get it done in a month. The simulator project went well other than me being a dumb ass and not realizing I had all of the pieces already and could have submitted it early instead of staying up until 12:30 on Thursday and getting up at 6:30 on Friday to get it submitted. Oh well. Well I’ve got a midterm tomorrow, and I need to get some studying in before Real World comes on.
