Life lesson for the week of May 5th
They paint fire hydrants red for two reasons. The first is so that the fire department can find them quickly when acquiring water to extinguish fires. The second is so that you don’t walk into them, rendering your knee unusable. Be sure to watch for them when you are out walking. They are sneaky buggers.
