Tonight was the parade for the Firemen’s festival. In the past we’d put the ’36 Ford in it, but haven’t done it for quite some time. With it being our 100th anniversary this year and all we decided we’d better get it out and put it in the parade. I got to drive it in the parade, which was a lot of fun. Carissa rode with me and threw candy. April and Savannah walked behind and got everyone who Carissa didn’t. Carissa did pretty good with throwing the candy, except she kept hitting the door jam, so there was a bunch on the floor when I opened the door at the end of the parade.
They had Grandma Belloni be the Grand Marshal since it was our 100th anniversary, so she got to ride at the beginning of the parade. Dad drove her in the Mustang and they won Best Classic Car, which was pretty cool. All and all it was pretty fun. Hopefully we will be able to do it again next year.
Karma my friend…karma. Check the date.
