1lb Bob Evans Original Sausage
3 tablespoons butter
12oz evaporated milk
1/4 cup flour
2 cups milk
salt & pepper
Brown sausage. Do Not Drain. Add butter. When melted, add flour. Stir and cook about 1-2 minutes. Add evaporated milk. Stir until thick. Begin adding milk. Start with about a cup. Continue cooking. If too thick, add more milk. Cook until it begins bubbling. You won’t know how thick it will be until it starts bubbling. Add salt and pepper to taste. The milk is never a set amount, just add enough until you think it is the right consistency.
