7 cups flour
½ cup sugar
2 packages yeast
2 cups warm water
1 egg, beaten
4 tablespoons oil
garlic powder
onion powder or salt
shredded cheddar cheese
Dissolve the 2 packages yeast in the 2 cups of warm water. Measure flour and sugar. Pour into large mixing bowl. Add beaten egg, water with yeast dissolved in it and 4 tablespoons oil. Knead and mix until dough is not sticky (may need to add more flour or more water). Let rise in a greased bowl for ½ to 1 hour. Punch down. Spread in pans. Bake at 400° for 10 to 15 minutes. Add light layer of oil, garlic powder and cheese. Return to oven for 5 to 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and crust is browned. Makes 2 (9×13”) crusts or 4 (12”) round crusts.

Made for Studer’s Christmas, 12/19/10. Made 2 crusts on cookie sheets. Used 8oz cheddar cheese on each crust. The crusts could have baked for a little bit longer. Other than that everyone seemed to enjoy it.
