I found a plug in for WordPress tonight called kPicasa Gallery. It lets you insert your Picasa Album into your WordPress blog using the nifty lightbox JavaScript script that overlays images on the current page. Long story short, now you can see all of my pictures by just clicking on the Gallery link at the top of this page. The author is working on a new version of the plug in this week and hopes to get it released soon, so hopefully I will have more features before long. Nonetheless, it’s pretty cool that I can have the album located here, but host the pictures on Picasa.
For those of you attempting to visit fhsclassof99.com (all zero of you), you’ll have noticed that it isn’t up right now. Since the web host switch, I haven’t moved the site over yet, but don’t worry, I will. One of the reasons I’m hesitating is I’m considering making the back end of that site run WordPress also, but I haven’t quite figured out how to handle the classmates portion of it. If anyone knows of a WordPress plug in that will let you display contact information for various people and allow them to update their information at will, please let me know.
